Meet The Coach

kETURAH cLARK-wEATHERS

Keturah Clark- Weathers is an entrepreneur, a certified holistic coach, licensed cosmetologist, and chaplain. Starting her first business at the age of 12, Keturah’s journey has been nothing short of divine. By the age of 19, Keturah became a licensed cosmetologist. By 21, she started her third business as a salon owner where Keturah adorned women’s crowns externally with the beauty manifested from within. She was able to achieve this with her keen ability to take what was being shared from her clients sitting in her chair and journeying with them through a process.

“When clients would sit in my chair, they began what I recognized to be a spiritual journey. A journey of reckoning, healing, [a journey] of becoming. I quickly realized that my role was to partner alongside them in that journey.”

Her values of education, exploration, creativity, and authenticity are what has fueled her drive to acquire a dynamic skillset that has ultimately led her to care for the souls of those who are placed in her path.

Keturah’s professional work has been working primarily with women of color to help improve their overall wellness and quality of life through education, advocacy, and connection to resources. Her experience ranges from working with individuals one on one to large group settings, including as a cosmetology instructor on Long Island in New York. Keturah found great purpose in developing students personally and professionally and bearing witness to their dreams developing into reality as they successfully became beauty professionals.

Keturah’s work centered around the cultural, historical, and social implications of black women’s physical appearance and its direct relationship to their physical, mental, and spiritual wellness.

In addition to her extensive community work, Keturah is a former salon owner where she has had the privilege of utilizing her extensive background to introduce wellness through a different type of platform, “the chair”. Keturah is a trained public speaker and has competed and won public speaking competitions on local, state and national levels. Keturah utilizes all of her skills, experience, and expertise to facilitate women nurturing their voice and honing in on their gifts and talents to walk in their divine purpose.
